Just got the app. Really love it. Was looking for something just like this for a while. Any chance of incorporating a FRETLESS option for bass?

Thanks Pete, glad you like it. I never thought of doing a fretless. I’ll give that some thought. Any suggestions on how it would work?

Just one week and I’ve already reached 60bpm, and that’s after having tried several other bass fretboard and notation learning programs. Fret tester is for me the most effective of the bunch, the buttons are nice and big, the app is very reactive, and the choice of mode lets me test my fretboard to notation knowledge in both directions. Congratulations!

To help me go a bit faster, have you a version of the app which shows a sequence of notes on the staff, so that while my fingers are moving towards the fret for the first note, my eyes can see the next note on the staff and start decoding it?

Of course it would be easy to get very complex with this sort of thing, but probably just showing the current note and the next note next to it would be already very good.

    All the best,
